Actors of Urban Change aims to achieve sustainable and participatory urban development through cultural activities and by using specific potentials of culture as driver and enabler of positive change. This is carried out by strengthening the competencies for cross-sector collaboration among actors from the cultural, public and private sectors. Through local projects, an international qualification program, Europe-wide exchange and individual coaching, our participants put those skills into practice.

Preparacion de los actores para la danza kathakali. Obtenida en Cochin, Kerala.
Kathakali es un estilo de danza teatro clásico de la zona de Kerala, al sur de la India. En ella los cantantes narran leyendas hindúes (provenientes del Mahabharata, del Ramayana y del Bagavata Purana) que los bailarines/actores personifican en escena mediante un complejo lenguaje de nrta (pasos de danza), mudras (gestos de las manos) y navarasya (expresiones del rostro).
Por la tradición, el kathakali se ejecuta en festivales que duran toda una noche en los templos hinduistas.
El kathakali pertenece a la vertiente tandava (masculina) de la danza clásica india, por lo que tradicionalmente todos los personajes son representados por hombres.

In actor scenes like this, one can see the probs in acting in SL. The team did it very good but acting in SL is nearly impossible. The set and the story makes a 'living picture' more than theater.
I shot actor Sammir Dattani's house one time. He lives in this awesome flat at Nepean Sea Road, by the sea. It was pouring that day and I couldn't get any pictures while shooting on colour mode. I managed to get this in sepia, though
