100 Not Out: The Authors XI in their 100th match since reforming in 2012 v the Thespian Thunderers XI at Chiswick House and Gardens on Sunday August 16th 2015. Photos are in chronological order. 100 pics in total…with 12 more for luck.
The Authors won the toss and elected to bowl. The Thespian Thunderers made 183 all out, including 63 from Freeman Le Page, with the final wicket falling in the last over of 40. Ben Falk took four wickets for the Authors, Jonathan Beckman three and Gideon Haigh was a safe pair of hands with two catches.
The Authors' reply? Appropriately, in their own words, via the medium of Twitter: "And the Authors fell thrillingly short with @alycett1 left stranded on 10 not out. We lost by 25 runs to excellent youthful @ThunderersCC."
The Authors team on this historic occasion was listed as: Tony McGowan, Daniel Rosenthal, Jon Hotten, Gideon Haigh, Oliver Craske, Ben Falk, Charlie Campbell, Subash Jayaraman, Jonathan Beckman, Matthew Parker, and Andrew Lycett.
All pf these photos are from the first innings. I would have loved to have stayed for the entire match but had to return to my day job, which is, ironically, writing about actors.

Finally all ten new Actors teams met in Berlin! In December 2015 the 30 new participants not only presented their projects but also rolled up their sleeves to further develop and refine them. For this process, the peer-learning approach and feedback by other colleagues was helpful, quite like inputs by Andreas Knoth (socius gGmbH) and Ania Rok (ICLEI). Loukas Bartatilas and Stelios Voulgaris, two alumni from team Athens, shared some retrospectives about their Actors project. Moreover, a field trip in Berlin touched upon various urban development issues, with stop overs in the housing estate Märkisches Viertel, at the press conference about development plans for the House of Statistics, at the co-housing project Spreefeld as well as at the Center for Art and Urbanistics (ZK/U), an Actors alumni project. Thanks again to the teams from Bologna, Budapest, Cluj-Napoca, Geretsried, Istanbul, Krasnoyarsk, Messolonghi, Novi Sad, Porto and Skopje - your combination of projects, places and people promises another exciting year and a half! Series of actors' headshots taken for a friend. Most of these we're shot with two external canon 430EX speedlites strobed, one through a softbox umbrella (http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/prod1873.htm) and the other through just a regular shoot-through (http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/prod6210.htm).
A bit more goes into this than you think, there are rules: the shot can't be too much of a portrait but should still show personality. Also the shot has to be an 8x10, which is a ratio of 1:1.25 unlike the camera's natural ratio of 1:1.5 so there's a lot of cropping to do in post.
The actor is Jash Fullinfaw, you can view him here: www.kublerauckland.com/Pages/Actors/ActorsFrameSet.htm
