Actor/creator Kenyon Phillips stopped by GFA on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, to talk with some theater students about his path into the creative arts.

Don't know if you know this about Duane or not, but he is an actor who has had work on The Wire (season 2, Duane was a regular extra..he was a dock worker) Homicide and movies including National Treasure, Ladder 49 and more! Anyhoo...Duane got stand-in work on the new Robert DeNiro/Bradley Cooper movie, The Dark Fields. He was the stand-in for the villian played by Andrew Howard.
Duane's characters name is Gennady and this piece of tape let the director know who Duane was standing in for. They used Duane to set up the shots as far as lighting, etc. His wardrobe consisted of this purple-ish sweater and jacket. This was done in downtown Philadelphia...how exciting! Duane was onset with both Bradley Cooper and Andrew Howard, but Mr. DeNiro was no where to be found. awwwwwwwwwwww. Dang. I'm excited because this is a movie I will actually want to see (Duane has a tendency to be in Mark Wahlberg movies (Shooter, Invincible) that aren't so good..heeheee...just kidding Duane...but not really)
You're really not suppose to bring camera's but I forced Duane to take one with him. Go here to read more about the movie...sounds very interesting! It should be released in March of 2011.
Yes...I would give my eye-teeth to see Duane in a zombie movie...I'd be ecstatic!
