During the TORONTO 2015 Youth Summit Art Starts was invited to be one of the 18 organization taking part of the Community Activation, one of the activities programed for the delegates who visited us from all over Ontario.
Lead by artist Joshua Barndt and Denise Bishop-Earle, 18 delegates and two Youth Advisory Councils were able to talk about various aspects of the Lawrence Heights revitalization process and how art can be used for social transformation. The event centered on collaborative, multi-media art-making around the themes home, community, transition and change.
