We've fitted my brother's lurcher up with the offical GoPro dog harness which I got him for Christmas. It was difficult to buy as for some ironic reason it wouldn't 'go to the basket' on the GoPro website.
Here is Minx jumping a wave break at Dawlish Warren to show everyone what it's like to be able to do 40pmh and jump like a stag. Here's the video from the dog! youtu.be/1Xl_yyX2cKE

I was off to Philadelphia for the day while my wife took part in a study at UPenn Medical. I decided, this time around, to locate a nearby trolly station and make my way into the city.
The first location of interest was the Philadelphia City Hall to see if I can get a ticket for the “Tower Tour”. I was unable to book a timed ticket online last night so I was hoping to get one by showing up at the visitor center. As luck would have it, I showed up at ~9:45am and was given a 10am ticket. Turns out, I was the sole 10am visitor.
I visited the Christ Church Cemetery on my last trip and wanted to check out the church proper. Much to my surprise, the church is several blocks away but an easy walk none the less. A guide escorts you into the church and introduces you to it’s history. Early parishioners were the very same individuals who founded our country.
I happened by a Starbucks on my way to the church and back there for a cafe mocha and a bite to eat. It was a chance to give my tired old feet a break.
Time to head back to UPenn Medical but there was one more stop to make on the way. Word is the Mütter Museum was worth the stop. No photography allowed so you’ll have to check it out for yourself. I will say one thing, the place is filled with all manor of medical oddities. Whew!

A couple weeks ago, I purchased a used Clipper Creek Level 2 EVSE. I decided to hang it today since we were getting some reasonably warm weather for working in my garage. The process took a couple hours most of which was spent clearing a space for it and rounding up some tools.
The EVSE was a lot heavier than I expected so I had to un-coil the cord to lighten the load. It was used so the cord needed some cleaning.
This unit is powered off of a 240v 40amp outlet yet to be installed. The charger built into my Chevy VOLT really doesn’t need a 40amp EVSE but this one provides a certain amount of “future proofing” should an all electric vehicle find it’s way into my garage. The VOLT would do nicely with a 20amp charger.
The 115v EVSE that came with the VOLT recharges the battery in about 12 hours. This 240v EVSE will cut that time to about 4 hours. A definite convenience for sure.
As previously mentioned, next step is to contact an electrician.

We cruised to/from Bermuda aboard NCL Breakaway in August 2017. The cruse was dubbed the "Birthday Cruise" because it signaled my entry into the next decade. Several family members were along for the celebration. The cruise was r/t NYC.

NOTE: The going under the bridge time lapse was done with an iPhone6.
The foot brace I found for $3 bucks at a local thrift store. It will be modified into a couple of DIY camera mounts.
Monday morning I drove the Honda with bike-on-board to Royal Bay.
I was here last Thursday but today with my bike in tow.
It was too windy to put the drone up but it was in my carrier.
Using the Vital Action Video Camera ($99CND) was a good idea.
It's as good as my 12yr-old GoPro except for battery life.
It was nice to be back in the area and the whole place can be covered in 15-minutes on a bike.

There have been a lot of buzz about GoPro Hero 5 to sport a 3D feature. This simply will enable consumers to capture videos in well-detailed 3D shots. Also, the device is supposed to be equipped with a 4K resolution with a capacity...
I was in a situation recently where some sort of hyper lapse video would be exactly right. So I went out there with my GoPro Hero 7 Black set to Time Lapse Video and a 1 second interval, hand held, and gave it a try. WOW, was it ever shaky! I searched the internet to figure out how people have done this and discovered Time Warp. And, to top it all off, I discovered that my GoPro Hero 7 was capable of doing this. There were various settings so I kept it at a modest 5X and gave it a try. WOW, I was impressed! At this point, the door was opened for more experimentation at other speed settings.
Video taken Late this Afternoon .
The building is the Headon Stadium .. Due to be demolished by council . "Contains Asbestos" .
Audio is the sounds of the drone motors ! Humming sweetly .
The drone flies very differently with the EKEN H9 Action Camera attached .
Video file processed in "Windows Movie Maker".
the bit going under the big, windy bridge is sped up to reduce time of clip. Also, some of it is a bit shaky but it was all hand held.
