I can assure you I did not plan it, but I like the way her black chin markings, the shadow of her cheekbone, the pupil--and even her face markings along the nose--align with the vertical "line" that is the shadow between pieces of furniture. That kind of thing makes me happy.
We have a natural urge to recognise what we see.
Abstraction ultimately eliminates anything recognisable.
