Directly below shot of a high-rise apartment which has 550 rooms.

I was just planning to take a picture of abstract architecture here. But the result was too realistic unexpectedly. It's nothing but a reality in Tokyo surrounded by concrete and steel, with little need to look up at the sky. I would like to see the real sky.

Location: Ikebukuro Air Rise Tower, which is directly connected to the Higashi-Ikebukuro Station.

Geometricity XXXI

(In-camera Multiple Exposure)

I noticed a row of doors in different colors that give access to storage areas behind a building. I loved the color combinations together with the dark bricks in between and it made me wish to see a composition that features these elements in different combinations on several levels. Therefore I decided to create this imaginary, impossible building, using the original imagery. Because of the relative shallow depth of the representation, details like the tiny plants in between the bricks, come across very strikingly and they seem to be growing out of the actual artwork.

It seems like a kid's dream to have so much Lego at your disposal you can climb on top of it. The boy in this image must have felt like that at the Lego House in Billund, Denmark. Although these are just the outside stairs that are not actually made of the famous toy blocks, it is a nice appetizer for the full experience inside.
