The lighting and emotion in this is my favorite part. I don't think I've ever looked at one of my pictures and tell exactly what i'm feeling; quite like this. I miss summer like crazy!

i went out with lacey today and took pictures in my yard. i think she looks absolutely aborable in this pose! this is my fav pic from our little photoshoot! i have more to post later :)

The shoes are killer! I do wish her toes stuck out a bit more, but it's NBD really x) The little zippers and silver heels are aborable, and I love the variety of materials used - definitely not something I'm used to seeing on doll shoes!
A somewhat backlit shot of an Anna's Hummingbird which was captured with very little color in its feathers. That contrast with the background is what later caught my eye.
Li'l J.C. had a great 2nd birthday party on Saturday. I guess I'm kicking myself around a little, feeling like I could have planned my week leading up to it better. BUT my grandson did get to stay with me all weekend. Tonight, while his young parents got some alone time, we helped him watch lots of Sponge Bob Squarepants, eat too much junk food, and play (like a crazy monkey) in bathtub full of bubbles. He's absolutely incredible/aborable/genius. 8:36PM

We spent afternoon at the junk market (yeah, that's the name of the event), about 30 minutes by bus from Tampere. Hot, hot day. The junk market is a huge event, there are lots of vintage, rusty car & motorbike parts.. but also ANYTHING!
