I am not able to locate the negatives from any of the Peary High School Variety Shows. I was able to find some contacts sheets of the negatives from the 1974 fall show. I scanned and they are not as bad as I expected. As I was not at Peary in 1974, I must give photo credit to John Stracke. John, I don't know why I have your contact sheets.
After not being able to get the generator car out of there, the crew heads back over the bridge with five loaded gondolas. the train will then head back to the yard to get one loaded Centerbeam flatcar and one empty gondola

I took this back in 1994 with my Minolta Maxuum 8000i film camera.
Point Lobos National Preserve is a wonderful place to go, and plan on making a good day of it.
Make sure you back a big lunch because you will be doing a lot of walking.

I love these Cypress Trees, don't you? These trees are so cool how they bend and curle all over the place.
Look how this tree curles, twists and stretches itself across the pathway. It's almost like this tree is trying to reach out and grab you.

Subjects are only able to trigger the camera using their brainwaves once they achieve a certain level of relaxation. At a pre-determined level of alpha activity (relaxation) a signal was sent to the camera to fire via the MindWave device, creating a unique self portrait. Ramar must be able to sense the excitement when he sits in front of the crowds. The already loud crowd volume triples. People's faces become animated. People crowd in four deep. He may look stern, but the way he sits for the crowd makes me feel he's not altogether unhappy about the excitement in the air.

Today I was fortunate enough to be able to start Amber's education in days walks with me. So after picking up my new glasses at the opticians we set off to Jevington only to find that the road was closed so we had to park at Wannock. Anyway we set off towards Folkington then under the Long Man up and over towards Lullington and then lunch near Jevington and back to the car. We did about 8 miles or should I say I did Amber must have done nearer 20 but she was really really good and hopefully she had as good a day as I did. I am very aware that she is still a puppy so keeping the mileage lower for a few months to ease her in gently but our future looks really bright.

Were able to take the family to Canal Park in Akron for an Eastern League game between the New Britain Rock Cats (farm team of the Minnesota Twins) and the Akron Aeros (farm team of the Cleveland Indians). The game was notable for the rehab assignment for Josh Barfield, Cleveland Indians second baseman.

On April 23, 2021, we had the amazing good fortune to be able to participate in the first ever group tour of this spectacular garden, the stables and gallery, as part of Virginia Garden Week. We had learned of Oak Spring from Monty Don’s 2020 BBC series "American Gardens". The masks and "social distancing" will date the pictures forever as having been taken during the COVID times. As you can see, it was a little crowded, but I've decided that the mostly tastefully dressed people may actually add something rather than detracting from the beauty of the garden.

I was able to visit with the Budweiser Clydesdales on July 14, and had a chance to meet the grooms, and see ten ‘gentle giants…’ the Budweiser Clydesdales. On July 17 I was able to watch the eight horse Budweiser Clydesdale hitch in action.

Able to hear then see and photograph a few Prothonotary Warblers (Protonotaria citrea) along the Sugar River at Colored Sands Forest Preserve in Winnebago County, Illinois during spring migration 2024. There were at least 3 if not 4 PROWs, 2-3 males and 1 female. Males were chasing one another and even battled falling into the river where the fight continued. Both eventually broke off and flew their separate ways.
I was able to make a visit to an abandoned factory not far from my home today. The place is filled with empty scenes of industrial abandonment, but that makes for a good opportunity to shoot industrial photos. At the time, I had my tripod, but forgot my quickshoe, so I was only able to get a few photos due to the light being very dim inside the buildings. I will be making a trip again soon in order to get more photos that I wasn't able to get this round due to low shutter speeds.
