Explored a little at Monte's backyard. And I had a little time tested out the full speed of the Tuzee with the Sony a9ii.
I did not take any shots when I saw this guy, I was too excited to see this rare Bunting in plumage yesterday with my buddy. He took off and did not come back for a long time. I almost gave up waiting almost 2 hrs during the slow hrs. Finally, it came back at the golden hours. We had a great time shooting this guy yesterday for a lifer bird.
It's a time of the year for the Barn Owls' Festival at Hayward Shoreline again. In the last few days, there were 100 photographers who came from all over the places to enjoy the Barn Owls flying around the dog park.
The only completely red bird in North America, the strawberry-colored male Summer Tanager is an eye-catching sight against the green leaves of the forest.

The Calliope Hummingbird is the smallest of Washington's hummingbirds, and in fact, is the smallest bird that breeds north of Mexico. Body coloring is green above and buff-gray below. The short, square tail is green at the base, with a black band in males. In females, the black band is tipped with white.
