Fujifilm X-T2 Pro Neg. Hi simulation with no post processing.

This image was made by arranging old 5 paise coins on a reflective surface. The coins on the left of the line of symmetry are the reflection of the ones on the right side.

Thought I would make use of some beach rocks I collected years ago. The splash doesn't stand out very well, but anything else would have ruined the water in the tray.

Thought I'd do one of me. Wasn't easy . A lot of distortion and hard to focus, but at my age you want a bit of blur on there. ;-)

This is the way I started on water drops - catching them on the way down out of the dropper. The pic was taken by someone else, but I did the drop :-)

No weird stuff. I like the clarity and color of this one. I added a bit of green to the blue dye. Two Speedlites - one on the drop and one on a white background into plain water.

Azollas as they look like from close...in my little pool.

Photographed using Samsung Galaxy A528B/DS mobile camera.

[v2 - 2014/01/27] Reduced Noise

This reminded me of a Muppet's fur. Fozzy maybe?

Progressing... Three valves, three colours.

Dans la froideur du bleu, les motifs rouges de ce minuscule insecte apparaissent comme un symbole d’énergie.

Life is just one fair chance to feel and understand the grand designs in every creation of mother nature...their intricate and inherent beauties...and thus believing in them. Such is the source of pure joy and happiness that million dollars cannot buy otherwise...

However far away

I will always love you

However long I stay

I will always love you

Whatever words I say

I will always love you

Whenever I'm alone with you

You make me feel like I am home again

Whenever I'm alone with you

You make me feel like I am whole again

Whenever I'm alone with you

You make me feel like I am young again

Whenever I'm alone with you

You make me feel like I am fun again

Whenever I'm alone with you

You make me feel like I am free again

I'll always love you

Cause I love you....

Simple green leaves sprayed with some darker green colored water. Comments are always appreciated.

Table cream and food dye dropped into an aquarium of water. These are pretty much the same set-up as my first cream drop experiments, except one time I had the water level too high and discovered I was able to get a cool coloured base where the liquids went into the water. So with these, the camera is at a much lower angle.

These are rotated 180 degrees to get this effect. There is a lot of work and clean-up with these. I only get a few shots before the water is too cloudy and has to be changed and then I have to brush the front and back of the tank to erase air bubbles. I also have to wait for all the little air bubbles to disappear. The first couple of drops into the tank are very blown out in the clear water so I set the aperture to a higher number. Alas, when I forget to put it back down, the pictures are dark like this one. I've been experimenting with different mediums. The red in this has some acrylic paint in it. It seems to be the smoothest of the ones I have. The acrylics also spread out very rapidly on contact with the water, hence the wide base with the flames.

I used crumpled tinfoil for the bokeh reflections in the water. For the drop - mostly water with a small bit of milk. Color is blue with a touch of green food coloring.

There it is - the lovely and popular cherry blossom!

This picture was taken on the last beautiful and sunny day. Now it's cold and cloudy.

Have a nice sunday and a nice start into the new week!

An older photo when everything was in bloom. I miss that time.
