Closeup of a little friend I found on an garden flower. He was placed back in the flower bed after his photo shoot.
It appears that flower's hues and colours symbolise :
Yellow: Joy and happines
Pink: Youth innocence and joy
White: Simple beauty
Green: Health and resilience
The hues and colours on this beautiful tulip capture capture a kaleidescope of wonderful symbols.
Thumbs up to my lovely step daughter Sam Fonberg, who with her green thumb delicately peeled back this flower's petals to optimise her beauty !
Peace out et bon Jeudi à tous

Yesterday I took a little walk with my two cameras. I enjoyed it, although it was extremely windy. And I'm pretty worried about my 50D, it seems that there are some problems with the electronics. Hopefully it was just a few dropouts and no serious problems...
I hope you like the new picture! I personally like it a lot :)

A mosaic of red ceramic tiles sets the stage. Lightweight styrofoam balls — blue, yellow, green, and pink — scatter across the surface, gently shifted by the wind. A simple setup that turns into a colorful, abstract little world.
My Speedlite 430EX ll with a pinkish gel behind the drop and the Speedlite 580 EX ll with a blue gel from the side. I am using water with some guar gum and a bit of cream. The guar gum thickens the water and left the little tendrils you see at the top of the ring. It is very lumpy and has to be strained quite a bit. Made with The Time Machine.
Greenish blue water/milk mixture dropped into blue water with a reflection from a red foam board behind the pan. Food coloring in the liquids. I was trying for turquoise color - came pretty close.
I've been getting some good tips from Kev. Should check him out. Amazing stuff!
Song by Rise Against, my favorite band for many, many years!
I shot a gerbera with a single droplet on one petal. You can't imagine how difficult it is to place the droplet without letting it fall down :D
This picture was shot with my Macro lens and my 2x Teleconverter at approximately 1.5:1 magnification.
Have a nice week!

This is an image from archives, as I have not enough time at the moment for liquid art photography. Hoping to come back soon with new work.
