This flower exists among the grass, but it doesn’t hide.
It is thick, bold, visible.
It doesn’t adapt. It doesn’t disappear into the background.
It is built according to a natural order that needs no approval: the Fibonacci sequence.
It is proof that beauty, coherence, and strength exist even where no one is looking.
I left the flower in color, turning the grass black and white—
to make it clear what matters, what deserves to stand out, what must no longer be lost in the background.
This flower is me: I do not blend in.
I resist.
In a precise, full form—yet invisible to most.
I am not seeking approval. I am existing.
And that is enough.

"A espera me consome. Malditos ponteiros de relógio que enquadram minha angústia na cadência do seu tic-tac. Liberta-te de todas as amarras! Abra a caixola e deixa teu pensamento ganhar o mundo."
The jagged edges of the petals and deep perspective give this gorgeous flower a slightly aggressive feel.

À la croisée du végétal et de l'organique, un minuscule être avance sans bruit, sculpté par la lumière.
Le silence devient matière.
La lenteur, une force.

At the crossroads of leaf and life, a tiny creature moves in silence, carved by the light.
Silence becomes matter.
Slowness becomes strength.
I have taken many pictures of this type of flower. But the purple color and how it fades from a kind of warm tone cream to white to soft purple caught my attention. I love the sharp lines as well. I wanted to show the rigid geometry and still have a soft look. I used 2 different temperatures of light to try and do this. For some reason the colors remind me of ice cream or taffy.
I used a very long exposure and very dim light to try and keep everything "warm." Used the RAW editor to tweak saturation and exposure. Other than that, no editing.

A macro photograph capturing the fiery beauty of a yellow flower with deep red accents at its core. The intricate detail of its pollen-covered stamens and glowing petals evokes warmth, energy, and the brilliance of nature in bloom.
