Dernier représentant de son espèce, ayant capitulé longtemps après les autres,le Train Auto-Couchettes (TAC) 5793 "Val de Durance" reliant la capitale à Briançon est vu dans les derniers kilomètres du parcours, peu après l'Argentière. Les BB 67376 et 67408 vrombissent pour hisser la rame encore longue à l'époque, la rampe de 25 pour mille commençant dès le carré de sortie de la gare, le train monte sans élan.
A cette période, les voitures couchettes étaient acheminées par le train 5773 "Train Bleu" de Paris Austerlitz à Valence. Les deux DD étaient acheminés par l'Auto-Train 24511 Paris-Bercy - Marseille jusqu'à Valence.
A Bilbao, au pied du Guggenheim: des marionnettes jouent aux castagnettes avec leurs bouches en bois devant les passants et s'inclinent profondément lorsqu'on leur verse une obole. De temps en temps on enlève les manteaux pour aller boire un coup, car il fait chaud là-dessous!
In Bilbao, near the Guggenheim Museum: puppets play castanets with their wooden mouths in front of the tourists and bow by making a profound reverence when an obole is paid for them. From time to time coats are removed to go to have a drink, because it is warm under there!

Tuesday Night Tacos at my house! This time we tried a new 'taco' cheddar mix cheese. It was very good with the fresh tomatoes, jalapeno, olive and onion.
