I’m not quite sure what kind of bird this is but I just went to Greece last month and saw a painting of one of these things having sex with a woman and it really resonated with me. My tour guide told me it was the god Zeus, also known as Jupiter by the romans, so I think it was the best thing to make for the #biocup2019 losers bracket. But I’m not a loser please don’t call me that!
To punish man, Zeus had Hephaestus create a mortal of stunning beauty. The gods gave the mortal many gifts of wealth. He then had Hermes give the mortal a deceptive heart and a lying tongue.
I made a quick visit to Dublin and was hoping to get up to Belfast too, but had to cancel that due to the weather. Managed to snag this after lots of shifting around and a sore neck. Looking up doesnt half take its toll and composing is really difficult espcially with the shorter buildings. There are three here and I just couldnt get them to work together at all so settled for these two in the end after much deliberation. Twice I walked away to come back and look at it freshly..

I got myself a companion earlier this week and today we headed out to Ya Ha Tinda west of Sundre, Alberta.
Zeus is a hound mix and he has a wonderful gentle demeanor. He's going to be a great companion on my outings.
I'm not sure what this pic looks like because my computer is in the shop for repairs and I'm using a work computer with a horrible monitor...This is pretty much straight out of the camera.
