Here is my little Zen garden.
Zen, the Sanskrit word for meditation, is a discipline. The purpose is to clear the mind of the chaos of everyday life in order to achieve a greater state of inner peace and harmony.
The mini lantern measures 3/4'' in height.
Thank you everyone for your visits, faves, and kind comments
Bien possible...
It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon and the leaves had finally turned brilliant. Viewed are two of the stacked boulder garden structures in this yard. Unfortunately I jiggled the camera just slightly so it's not as crisp as it should be, and yet it was my fav shot: Go figure.

At my daughters wedding some water lilly flowers. Can you see the feathers. The pond was full of ducks and carp.

Believe it or not, this was taken right outside in the morning , no flash used. Great cooperation with the natural lighting. Never used Photoshop nor have one. That's it, all natural lighting! Do please enjoy. Please click on the upper right corner the image for better viewing. You can also visit me at www.azimaging.ca and www.500px.com/azimaging
Seeing the two mushrooms with the growing little tree beneath it, reminded me of ZEN-buddhism or a little bonsai tree. Here I tried focus stacking, which was quite difficult, as I had no expierence with it, only a normal DSLR (moving the focus ring and tried not to miss to much out) and no professionell programm like Zerene. Affinity had to help me out here. But in the end I am quite pleased with the result, though it´s not perfect ;-)
High key image of reeds taken on an visit to Newport Wetlands, Wales. The image reminded me (a bit) of a Japanese Sumi-e brushstroke painting....hence the Zen reference in the title.
A footbridge and fresh snow...

On the grounds of the Zen Temple Engakuji in Kamakura. I never felt I did the sublime Japanese Zen gardens justice in my photographs. Definitely better to be there yourself.
Corkscrew hazel branches and their shadows in the light square created by the morning light coming through the East window.
