I decided to go to the Houston Zoo today for the first time in over a decade. I was lucky enough to witness Miles's, a the Houston Zoo's 6 day-old giraffe calf, first day out of the barn. I felt like paparazzi taking these pictures, but it was quite the sight to behold. These pictures are of Miles and his mother. This is my submission for Feb 5, 2009 for Project 365. 37/365
