My latest creation: Nissan 300ZX!
At first, I thought this would be an easy and quick build, but I was completely wrong. This turned out to be one of the most challenging models to construct. The shapes were much harder to replicate than I anticipated, and bringing them to life took way more time than I expected. Overall, I’m really happy with the final result!
I had a chance to do a quick photo shoot with the New Z, and the cars that inspired the new design, an original 240Z, and Z32 300ZX Fairlady.
Being JDM-spec, this really should've been registered as a Nissan Fairlady Z32, but the importer chose to apply the nearest UK/European model name instead.
One of only 24 roadworthy examples, according to HML?, this one was brought to these shores on the 1st June 1998.
Up until 2013, its mileage was recorded in kilometres, but all subsequent readings have been converted to miles – 57,654 of them in June this year.
Curiously, the DVLA are unaware of its colour.
Registered in Birmingham, yet appears to have been supplied by Windisor [sic] Classics in Staines, who are still trading today.
On owner #3, who acquired it in May 2013.
