I suspect this upload is going to get no love, lol, but I appreciated their spirit, and I did have 2 Z31's, a Z32, and a Z33, so...

EXPLORE #243 on 8/22/17. THANKS everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

yup! $1900 got me a Z32! which if you know the value of a Z32, you know what that means... Manual, 2 seater, 1996, 2nd engine has about 140k, 200k on the body, not a single panel without serious rust or damage, no power steering, bad shifter bushing (not a big problem), synchro bad between 4th and 5th (not a problem, I'm not racing anybody), check engine light (yay 1996! 1st year for the OBD2! coolant temp sensor and upstream O2 sensor, easy fixes, $80 in parts!), working heat and AC! All electrics ok! Previous owner got it (for basically nothing) ruined, with a 4" straight pipe with a cutout from the bumper for it, 18" truck wheels and badly lowered suspension. He worked to get it back to original, restoring the proper suspension, wheels and exhaust! Yes, it has a wired in push-button starter switch hanging down by the clutch pedal, and the steering is currently laughably vague, but I think this is a winner! Drove it home 70 miles and have used it since, great pulling engine and no problems. Added feature, I noticed under the passenger floor mat some wood paneling, investigated, and there's a bit of an opening to the engine bay there! Which lets in a wonderful noise while I'm driving! No, I know that sounds bad, but aside from a slight draft at speed, really the engine sounds great! At least compared with my Z31, which is always pretty mellow sounding.
