The real kick off to the Holiday Season in Vancouver was December 1, 2023. In true Vancouver fashion the Holiday Season kicked off in the pouring rain.
I started my wanderings this night on the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza for the Official turning on of the Yule Tree. Great fun, and a huge crowd despite the heavy rain.
These are photos of the 76 Ft high Christmas tree and some of the performers at the event.

Wynston Minckler: Stand-up Bass
Jocelyn Waugh: Tumpet

I took this of my Yule tree after I got all of the decorations hung. My tree is filled with lots of fairies and sprites.
