“Musubi is the old way of calling the local guardian God. This world has profound meaning. Tying thread is Musubi. Connecting people is Musubi. The flow of time is Musubi. These are all the God’s power. So the braided cords that we make are the God’s art and represent the flow of time itself. They converge and take shape. They twist, tangle, sometimes unravel, break, then connect again. Musubi – knotting. That is time.”

i, i still remember
that afternoon
there was only you
you said it was just like a full moon
blood beats faster in our veins
we left our trousers by the canal
and our fingers they almost touched
you should have asked me for it
i would have been brave
you should have asked me for it
how could i say no?
and our love could have soared
over playgrounds and rooftops
every park bench screams your name
i kept your tie
i'd have gone wherever you wanted
and on that teacher's training day
we wrote our names on every train
laughed at the people off to work
so monochrome and so lukewarm
and i could feel our days are becoming night
i could feel your heart beating across the grass
we should have run, i would go with you anywhere
i should have kissed you by the water
i still remember
--i still remember
by bloc party
as long as we're already breaking the chain so violently, i may as well continue until i can get all caught up. this one was just...ready, so...here you go!
p.s. this photo reminds me of a song by my friend genevieve, who just released her first full-length album! vieve was one of many surrogate older sister types to me growing up in the conservatory we studied at, so everyone should go check her out here

The nice thing with this game is, you don't need SoftTH for those resolutions.
Just put your resolution into this file.
C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\2K Games\Mafia II\Saves
Downsample the window to your desktop resolution with SRWE, done!
For Lua Scripts to work, you'll need the "dev" injector.
Just put those files into your \pc folder SteamApps\common\Mafia II\pc
You have to put your scripts into the "userscripts" folder. (.lua files)
for example, i found a fly script. F1.lua ( F1 stands for the button you need to press to activate the script)
bindKey ("K","v = game.game:GetActivePlayer():GetPos() v.y = v.y + 2 game.game:GetActivePlayer():SetPos(v)")
bindKey ("J","v = game.game:GetActivePlayer():GetPos() v.x = v.x - 2 game.game:GetActivePlayer():SetPos(v)")
bindKey ("I","v = game.game:GetActivePlayer():GetPos() v.y = v.y - 2 game.game:GetActivePlayer():SetPos(v)")
bindKey ("L","v = game.game:GetActivePlayer():GetPos() v.x = v.x + 2 game.game:GetActivePlayer():SetPos(v)")
bindKey ("U","v = game.game:GetActivePlayer():GetPos() v.z = v.z + 2 game.game:GetActivePlayer():SetPos(v)")
bindKey ("O","v = game.game:GetActivePlayer():GetPos() v.z = v.z - 2 game.game:GetActivePlayer():SetPos(v)")
And
F2.lua - Hide Hud
bindKey ("B","v = game.hud:Show(0)")
bindKey ("N","v = game.hud:Show(true)")

Photowalk #1
Tonight we had a great photo walk downtown. Thanks to everyone that came out. There was a lot of photographic talent on the street tonight. You guys were a lot of fun to hang out with too! Post your photos to the OutofChicago group and tag them with "photo walk #1" if you get a chance.
During the photo walk, we ran into the filming of Giuliana and Bill. They didn't seem at all upset that we hit them with a bit of amateur paparazzi.
Google+ Tip of the Day
The other day, I mentioned that Google+ solves one of my biggest pet peeves of Flickr. You can be notified when someone responds to you in a comment, but only if they directly respond to you by putting +YourName in the comment. But this is not the default behavior. And it can be very discouraging when you first join Google+. If you comment on other people's posts on Flickr with default settings on, you will get an email any time someone posts a comment after yours. So you will see all of these notifications and think that people really liked your stuff. Until you realize it's all comments on other people's stuff.
To change the default settings, click on the small gear icon in the upper right hand corner in Google+ and choose Google+ settings. Under Notifications, you can change what things will send you a notification. I have everything checked except, "Comments on a post after I comment on it" and "Comments on a photo after I comment on it."
