I really need to constantly revise my newly acquire photoshop technics to enjoy the full spectrum creation of beautiful subtle color n dramatic impact with Photoshop CS5 magical delivery tools, as I had did a similar previous trial version within mere 20-30min to reccee what are layering n cloning tools that can benefits my final Post Production outcome, I really have to say i love the final quality result n enjoy the process software so much, I had been not a very new comer interm of photo manupilation technics but had distance my forbidden fingers on dare challenging such pro-effective CS5 software as numerous proven track record users had testify it success. I'm decently new with such half alien new-ware as my usual standard limitation weapon, Photoimpact X3 software, had faithfully accompany me for the past 2 yrs achieving some outstanding inspirational result published by magazines overseas.The software is getting severe concussions from my huge 21 mega pixel heavy sucking file size. All the sudden shut down n super slow insufficient memory had prompt me to apart for early retirement.
At the mean time, I simply make myself understand n fully rely on photoshop basic layering n cloning tools that most require for my photography digital blending aid n is shame on me to say that I still do not know much beside this 2 essential function other than what the rest mighty tools can benefit me.

Yahoo Falls, Sunrise: Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.
My favorite light for waterfalls is what John Sexton calls the "quiet light" that you get before the sun breaks the horizon. This was my second visit to Yahoo Falls so I planned to get there early. The soft early morning light was great, but I spent so much time exploring the area looking for where the falls wanted to be photographed from, that as soon as I had everything set up, the sun came above the horizon lighting up the mist. At first I was disappointed with the sudden, drastic change in light that I almost folded up the camera to look for something else. After I took the time to really "look" at the scene I realized what I had and what the final print should look like.
At least a few others liked the print, back in 2001 the Tennessee State Museum purchased a 16x20 print for their permanent collection.

Yahoo is another art piece by John Jagger, a world renown artist who is responsible for a number of pieces shown at Sculpterra winery near Paso Robles. It is a 15ft high ,hand-welded, bucking horse, weighing over 2,000 pounds.
Since I now have the option, I thought I should make the best out of it. :))

15η ποδηλατική ανάβαση Υμηττού με αφετηρία το Πάτημα Χαλανδρίου (246m), ανάβαση έως την κορυφή Εύζωνα (1010m) και επιστροφή στο Πάτημα.
Η κορυφή του Υμηττού έχει μέγιστο υψόμετρο 1026 μέτρα, αλλά εκεί βρίσκεται το ραντάρ και δεν επιτρέπεται η πρόσβαση.
Η ποδηλατική διαδρομή ήταν η εξής: Πάτημα, Αγία Παρασκευή και μέσω της οδού Ανατολικής Μεσογείου έφτασα στο μοναστήρι του Αγίου Ἰωάννου του Κυνηγού.
Η ανηφορική διαδρομή συνεχίστηκε για 800 περίπου μέτρα ακόμη ενώ ο δρόμος σε αυτό το τμήμα γίνεται πιο στενός.
Στο τέλος αυτής της ανηφόρας υπάρχει στενή αριστερή στροφή, αλλά για την πορεία προς την κορυφή ακολούθησα στα δεξιά ένα βατό χωματόδρομο.
Στο τέλος του χωματόδρομου αυτού συνάντησα ξανά άσφαλτο και ακολούθησα μια νοητή παράλληλη πορεία με τον Περιφερειακό του Υμηττού (σε αρκετά μεγαλύτερο υψόμετρο με τον Περιφερειακό). Μετά από μερικά χιλιόμετρα θα συναντήσω το κεντρικό δρόμο που οδηγεί στην κορυφή του Τρελού όπως έλεγαν οι παλιοί τον Υμηττό.
Η ποδηλατική αυτή διαδρομή περνά και από το μοναστήρι των Tαξιαρχών ή μονή Αστερίου όπως το γνωρίζουν πολλοί και βρίσκεται σε υψόμετρο 600 μέτρων σε κατάφυτο περιβάλλον.
Λίγο μετά τη μονή υπάρχει ένα όμορφο διάσελο με οπτικό πεδίο σε Μεσόγεια και σε λεκανοπέδιο Αθήνας.
Από το διάσελο αυτό ο τερματισμός της πορείας απείχε 5,5 χιλιόμετρα.
Τα τελευταία 3 χιλιόμετρα είναι εκτός δάσους σε εκτεθειμένη στα καιρικά φαινόμενα πλαγιά του βουνού.
Το 19ο χιλιόμετρο της ποδηλατικής ανάβασης διανύθηκε πάνω στην κορυφογραμμή του βουνού με άπλετη θέα σε όλο το νότιο, δυτικό και βόρειο ορίζοντα.
Στην επιστροφή από τα 1015 μέτρα του βουνού στο Πάτημα Χαλανδρίου η δύση του ηλίου χρωμάτιζε με έντονα χρώματα το βουνό.
Το χαρακτηριστικό της σημερινής διαδρομής ήταν πως δεν είχε τίποτα να ζηλέψει από μια ευχάριστη καλοκαιρινή ημέρα. Χλιαρή ζέστη σε όλη τη διάρκεια της ανάβασης, αλλά στο κατέβασμα που είχε πέσει ο ήλιος πρόλαβε σε ρεματιές του Υμηττού να δημιουργηθούν ψυχρές λίμνες...
Νηνεμία σε όλη τη διαδρομή ενώ λίγο η ζέστη λίγο η υγρασία δεν αφήσαν πολλά περιθώρια για χάζεμα μακριά από την Αττική...
Συνολικός χρόνος ποδηλασίας 3 ώρες (χωρίς τα διαλείμματα) και συνολικά χιλιόμετρα διανυθέντα 38.

Probably my best shot last weekend. The temps had warmed up enough to get the falls flowing and the ice volcano melting. I normally don't like the straight ahead shot of this type of waterfall, but I think this composition works. Of course there are lots of things I'd like to have different about it, like a stronger flow and more water in the creek, but you're there when you're there. This is really a neat place. At 113 feet, it's Kentucky's highest waterfall, and has a huge recessed area behind it.
A 2 image handheld pano of Cambridge Cancer Research as couldn’t fit the whole building in at 17mm, blended in CS5 and edited in lightroom 4 with a slight HDR overlay layer. Finally got a sky behind it I liked while dropping off today. Shot direct into the sun,

got an invite from yahoo a few days ago to join and add some of my weather related photos to their new 'project weather' group on flickr. you submit weather related images to be displayed in their 'yahoo weather app' availble for android, mac, etc. today, my wife noticed that my photo was displayed as the background for the cornwall, ontario weather in the yahoo weather app. there was also a link to my original image on flickr. kinda' neat. and yes, i grew up with and like Fahrenheit, never did adapt too well to Celsius...

Have also recently bought a f/1.8 50mm prime lens which I started trying out today...its just awesome, one of the simplest, yet best lens IMO :)
Its cloudy today and had a bit of a tough time managing the exposure of a brand new white ball in these cloudy conditions... hence the slightly underexposed/ less-bright image...
