A recent snowfall from Cincinnati's Playhouse In The Park.
Formally known as Mt. Ida after a washerwoman named Ida Martin who lived in a sycamore tree on the hill, Mt. Adams was renamed in 1843 after President John Quincy Adams who delivered a dedication address for an observatory which sat where the massive building in the middle right top of the image. The observatory was moved in 1871 to Mt. Lookout and is still in operation today.

Italy, Venice, Murano Island, “Cometa di Vetero” Comet Glass Star, created by master glassmaker Simone Cenedese at her art studio on the island which is famous for their glass works since over 700 years.
The sculpture, displayed on the Campo San Stefano near the Murano clock tower & the San Pietro Martire Church, consist of 500 individual blown glass elements in six colours & a diversity of sizes. The light reflecting piece of glass art work is 4,6 meters high & 5,6 meters wide & was displayed first on x-mas 2007.

Rework of an older Flickr picture. Years ago I photographed this Snowy Owl flying away and added a new background. My digital photography skills have improved since then, and here is my similar but better new 23rd version.

Austria, Graz, the 28 mtr high “Grazer Uhrturm”, Grazer Watchtower above the city on the “Schlossberg” is one of the city’s landmarks & can been seen from most parts of the city. A large clock-face is located at each of the four sides on the surfaces of the tower with a diameter of more than five meters, installed in 1712 in fresco technique.
A curiosity about this watch which is different from common watches,…the hour hand is longer than the smaller minute hand, which was installed much later.

Jika Yahoo ID anda menggunakan Singapore , Jerman , Hongkong dan Korea, kamu hanya kan bisa melihat foto yang aman, terkendalai dan baik-baik saja "safe mode" berdasarkan arti lokal setempat. dan kamu tidak bisa menyalakaan atau mematikan "safe mode" tersebut. dah gak jamannya main sensor sensoran ini kan komunitas global
Dengan kata lain, pengguna dengan ID Jerman tidak bisa mengakses foto di flickr yang tidak memiliki tanda "safe" ... hanya bunga bungaan dan pemandangan saja yang bisa di akses sama orang Jerman tersebut ...nah lo..jadi pencinta alam deh kalo gitu he he

Seit gestern werden für deutsche Nutzer keine Bilder mehr angezeigt, die als 'moderate' oder 'restricted' markiert sind! Es gibt keine Moeglichkeit dies umzustellen - auf welcher Basis dies geschieht, ist unklar - es ist jedenfalls ein bemerkenswerter Umstand, dass ein US-Konzern Zensur in Deutschland ausübt.
Lade dieses Bild runter und poste es in deinem Account! Lass uns das Bild überall auf flickr verteilen und es in 'Interestingness' heben!! So geht es nicht!

Canon EF24-105 F4 L Lens wide angle lens.
Tripod (keep possible sharpness n ability to focus for most idealistic desire composition)
Release cable (reduce hand contact n fully manage desire exposure timing)
