An important part of our Arctic Adventure was to drop in to see Larry's dad and Larry's sisters. We don't get to visit his side of the family very much, so it was very nice. Most of Larry's family loves to travel as much as we do. The drive to Barrie from from YYZ (which is beautiful in itself, especially along Highway 27 which is a bit rural) was a bit of an adventure, as it was the long weekend. While there was some traffic congestion, we were only about 15 minutes late, and we made it back to the airport in good time to catch our flight to Ottawa, our jumping off spot to the Arctic.
