Sometimes I feel like a yo-yo.. I'm up.. I'm down.. The light constantly battling the darkness. I ask myself, why not let it in... why not let it go.. and when I think I might.. I am reminded one day...I will draw my last breath.
On that day, the face I don't want to see is.....darkness.
You're not kidding - - HOT & HUMID
No air, salt in your eyes, clothes stuck like glue .... .. .. .. .. ..
Either that or sit home by the air conditioner.

Good and bad, light and darkness... They are opposites and also part of us... we learn by comparison but sometimes we forget that light can turn to darkness and... in something bad we should try to find something good...
It's easy to talk about it... the difficult part is to live and experience it.
These two common mergansers gave me quite different profiles as they stood on the log just underneath the waters at Spenard Crossing in Anchorage, Alaska. This is one of those bird species that appears to have a fairly big safety bubble as they don't like you to get too close to them. I was observing from the shore behind some grass and didn't seem to spook them much.

Yin and Yang made of salt. Done for Looking close...on Friday!
I took 3 photos of these shrubs.
While crapping and rotating around looking for the best side,
I discovered the shape of Swan, Yin & Yang, and SeaHorse.
To emphasize them, I just placed the dots for the eyes.
When I placed the eyes, it came out alive. I was so excited. Now I am looking for different shapes, but I do not see any.
