In late March England is awash with daffodils, they are everywhere . In gardens, parks, on roundabouts and the verges in the countryside. Given that ; it is almost superfluous to post a shot of some daffodils.
However there just has to be at least one post to celebrate the 2021 crop. These are just a few of the hundreds in my garden . The thing about daffodils it does not seem to matter how common they are every March they always give the spirit a lift

Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Parts VI–IX
"Shine On You Crazy Diamond", was written as a tribute to Syd Barrett, one of the founders of Pink Floyd. He was also known as "The Crazy Diamond Syd". Barrett was a very creative musician and is considered one of the rock icons, with a strong influence on many artists, very especially to David Bowie. Syd Barrett is a key piece to understand the evolution of rock in the 70s.. Excessive drug use, especially LSD, caused him serious mental health problems. Syd Barrett died in 2006 at the age of 60. The Universal is a science fiction song written as a tribute to two films by film director Stanley Kubrick. In the video, the Blur members wear outfits similar to Alex and his gang of thugs, the protagonists of the movie "A Clockwork Orange." The image used for the cover of the single alluded to what is possibly Kubrick's best film: "2001: To Space Odyssey."

Revisited this small lake close to my home on a frosty and snow day in January 2023. The last time, when I was on location, it was quite some years ago. It was summer and the lake was completely dry. What a different view this day! Looking forward to my next visit.

Hola a todos, llevo más de un año dándole vueltas al tema y creo que después de 5 años posteando y más de 5.000 fotos simplemente estoy cansada de esto, aunque me cuesta un montón asumirlo.
Estas vacaciones he disfrutado de poder leer un libro con calma, de ir a tomar algo sin estar pensando qué voy a postear, de vivir la vida sin estar enganchada a un PC....En resumen, creo que es mejor decir adiós, no sé si definitivamente o al menos por un largo tiempo.
Mis amigos se alegrarán por mi porque saben lo complicado que es trabajar en RL y entrar agotada a SL para trabajar todavía más. Los que me odian también lo estarán, pero creedme mi vida es mucho mejor sin esto.

Hello everyone, I've been thinking about this for more than a year, after 5 years posting and over 5.000 pictures I'm exhausted.
This holiday I enjoyed being able to read a book peacefully, going out without thinking what I will have to post, in summary, I realised what is live my life without being hooked to a PC ....
So, I think it is better to say goodbye, I don´t know whether definitely or at least for a long time.
My friends will be happy for me because they know how complicated it is to work in RL and SL simultaneously.
My haters will be happy too, but believe me, my life is much better without this.
Thank you very much to all my followers, my sponsors (I really love you) and all the people who in one way or another have been part of my life here.

The Austonian held the crown of tallest building in Austin for nine years until The Independent surpassed it by only seven feet in 2019. Located at 200 Congress Ave., the 683-foot tall, 56-story building is a modern architectural icon in this rapidly growing city.
This post modern skyscraper was designed by Ziegler Cooper Architects of Houston. The Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos Metropolitan Area, now with a population of 2.3M, is one of the fastest growing large metropolitan areas in the country having added more than 579,000 residents since 2010.
The oldest recorded Evening Grosbeak was a male, and at least 16 years, 3 months old when he was found in New Brunswick in 1974.
Floki is six years old already! I first held him when he was six months old and I’ve been so lucky to have this sweet little soul in my life.

On 29 January 1971, the first to Royal Air Force Puma helicopters were delivered into service.
To commemorate 50 years of service, Puma HC Mk2 XW224 has been given a unique new paint scheme.
The engine housing boasts the badges of all the squadrons who have flown the Puma, both as a HC Mk 1 and a HC Mk 2;
The tail fin is emblazoned with the union flag;
The standard Royal Air Force logo on the cabin door has been replaced with the bespoke Puma 50 logo.
