A rather large mid-1970s 35mm rangefinder with a sharp Yashinon 45mm f/2.8 lens. With a working battery, it's an aperture priority manual focus camera. Without a battery, the shutter fires at approximately 1/500. Meter with a separate meter (phone app works) and set the aperture that works for the speed of the film and a shutter speed of 1/500. You know, old-school stuff.
It's available in my camera shop at www.ccstudio2380.com

The Yashica Electro 35 GSN is a 35mm rangefinder camera produced from 1973, known for its aperture priority mode and a fixed 45mm f/1.7 lens. It is often referred to as a "poor man's Leica" due to its affordability and decent performance for film photography.

Yashica's (Kyocera by this point) last TLR model in the last run of cameras. Yashica (then Yashima) started off in 1953 with the Pigeonflex and then the Yashima Flex and continued to build TLRs way longer than the market could bear (or need). The good news is that the 124G can be found today in great quantities and cameras are as "young" as 37 years old.
It's a very affordable way to get into medium format photography and in the case of this model, be able to use both 120 and 220 roll film giving you either 12 or 24 exposures.

From 1959. One of Yashica's first small electronic devices the YT-100 joined its larger sibling the YT-300.
It's always a pleasure to shoot people who are addicted to photos and beautiful cameras.

YES! This is my third Yashica TLR that I´ve bought the last two months. First I bought a Yashica-Mat, beautiful but the shutter was broken, so I bought a Yashica-D that worked just fine until I happened to brake the focussing knob into two pieces!! =( The Yashica-family must hate me!
So now I decided to give myself a third Yashica, a Mat-124! Very tasty camera in excellent condition. The shutter seems accurate and the light meter seems just fine with a new battery installed. I just hope it works with film loaded! =)
-Wish me luck!
..and I know, I shouldn´t have the yellow filter mounted with portra film loaded. It´s just for the look. ;)
