In October 2020, Hulleys of Baslow launched new SNAKE branded bus route X57 linking Manchester and Sheffield via the Snake Pass. The route was extended to run to Manchester Airport from May 2021. Hulleys 21 (Y100 HOB), a new MCV eVoRa bodied Volvo B8RLE that entered service in April 2021 with a cherished registration celebrating the centenary of the company, was photographed at Chorlton Street, Manchester on 28 May 2021.

Sadly the SNAKE X57 route was withdrawn after operation on 8 January 2022.

The old town of Huangyao (entry Y100) has a 1000 year history dating back to the Ming dynasty. Most of the old buildings and the original flagstone streets date from the Qing dynasty, 100-300 years old. There’s an attractive mixture of grey brick and yellow mudbrick houses with grey tiled roofs. Although it is a tourist attraction it is still fully inhabited.

YR12RAD parked up for the Saturday with Y100APP in the background.

Ayats Bravo 1 MAN 24.480 Y100 ATB which is seen passing by York rail station. This was previously with A to B Coaches where the registration has been inherited from, though this was new as Y96 RVR - now with Generation Travel of Middlesbrough it still retains it's "ATB" registration... maybe it only works at night so people have to have for 9pm until it comes (sorry, terrible 1990's reference!)

Service 449 between Lochgilphead and Campbeltown is operated by West Coast Motors on behalf of Argyll and Bute Council, and is run in two sections: Lochgilphead—Tayinloan and Tayinloan–Campbeltown. Two vehicles from Ardrishaig and Campbeltown depots meet at Tayinloan ferry slip (for the Isle of Gigha) and Tayinloan Post Office, and are timed for school students to travel to and from all three points.

The Volvo from Ardrishaig depot operates the northern section of the 449, nominally to Campbeltown, but it will stop at Tayinloan to rendevous with the bus from Campbeltown before returning to Lochgilphead.

On the approach to Tayinloan ferry terminal, 6/6/25 07:58.
