I got a consultation done for my wisdom teeth today and I'm quite nervous now. Normally dental procedures fascinate me, but oh...my...gawd...y'all. The orthodontist said that my right bottom wisdom tooth's root is very, very close to a nerve. If it gets severed, then my chin and lip could possibly get permanently numb. PERMANENTLY NUMB. :/

When cutting some sheets of #XRay down to fit into #5x4 DD's I had some left overs. I cut the left overs up and tested using the Six20 in bulb using flash.

Now that I'm happy enough with these results I'm sure I'll be loading up more XRay film in this camera soon.

X-Ray of NES Zapper

X-Ray film, 10x12 cm (4x5"), shot for fun with some friends who asked for seeing how to shot a film photography. So I've developed quickly and scratching the film a lot. This is the film scan. Just for fun.

I took this pinhole shot onto xray 6x10 inch film at f1600 yes f1600. Something strange is going on because its way better than I thought it would be. The camera is 1070mm long and the pinhole is 0.66mm. There is some fogging happening so I'll insert a light baffle and try again.

Exposure was only 90 seconds the xray film I'm using seems to be more sensitive at longer exposures.

Still playing with my new toy, a Faxitron MX-20 high resolution X-Ray cabinet. It's in need of calibration and a few other tweaks (hence the vertical banding in the images) but that's easily enough done when I've got five minutes.

This is a bloom taken from a cheap bunch of supermarket flowers, X-Rayed and then false coloured. Top left is the original image; the others are mix and match RGB and HSL with various adjustments applied to the original (eg tone mapping, channel linearity, Clarify). All manipulation done in Paint Shop Pro X.

I am seriously impressed with the Faxitron MX-20. It makes really good, high definition, high resolution images with just a single button press, sorting out all the exposure and other issues all by itself. Magic. Pity they're so expensive.

Autogrand is the new name for Autotime, a Russian toy company who have traditionally used Welly to make unique Russian models for their domestic market but who it seems also use another unknown toy company.

Most of their new releases are centred around modern Lada vehicles such as the neat Lada Xray small SUV crossover based on a Dacia platform. They are classed as budget diecasts but as you can see here they are very nicely cast with plenty of Welly style detailing and accuracy plus full interiors and modern paint colours. This smart matte black recolour is part of their Black Edition which also includes rebadged RMZ City castings too. Mint and boxed.
