I stopped by the local park this morning to take some test photos for a lens profile, hoping I might see some birds.
As I was heading back to my truck, out of the blue comes this great blue heron! I took a series of photos, some with him "prowling," but this open-beak photo struck me as expressive (and dinosaur-ish).
"Bimmer X6" My faithful steed and I were out capturing scenes yesterday in the stormy weather so I decided to get a picture of my baby (Don't tell my wife I said that, she hates it when I call my car my baby! HA!)

The Sigma DP1 Quattro is the 28mm FF equivalent lens version.
After a battery charge and a brief setup check, I went straight out for a test shoot. DNG, then JPEG (std colour, BW, "Cinema"). These are all OOC Jpegs, unedited except for some reframing. File size up to 15 MB, unlike the DNG files, not to mention the proprietary Sigma Raw files ....
