Photo collected by my father, Jack Adams 1932-1969.

W.A. Leary, Jr., who first "peddled books in a basket; then he afterwards had a very small book stand ... He persevered, and in a short time rented the store on the southeast corner of Fifth and Walnut streets. His business increased, and he soon became an active old bookseller. He was a mere vender of books; he neither knew their contents nor cared to know."

Inspired by kawaii Japanese pop hairstyles, Future Beauty Up Late attendees could have their hair made over by these two stylists from Lyla Clare at Queensland Art Gallery / Gallery of Modern Art. Most people opted to have a French roll which involved lots of hair teasing and some glitter gel to finish.

Jessalee and Mia (the stylists) were so pleased to be drawn that they gifted me their bottle of champagne (they said they were riding home and wouldn't be able to drink it).

took this folder of letter writing things to my boyfriend's :)

One of my hobbies is lettercarving in stone. Here you see a work by an anonymous artist spotted in Killarney Ireland. The lettertype is based upon the Unciaal and the innerside is done with the guilding technique. I believe the stone is slate.

This letter is dated August 14, 1876. At that time Boggs would have been an instructor at what would become Virginia Tech.

Tested on Whitelines Quad-ruled paper using Lamy Blue washable ink.

These were scanned by my friend Kate, and I thought I'd make them available for other Rotring Rapidograph owners who don't have any instructions!

Time just flies and I never get to read as much as I want, so here it is conceptualised in a shot. :)

I started to write this ages ago on the side of an empty coffee cup during class one day and accidentally threw it out. This is all I can remember.
