A 365 fail today ..was busy BBQing and no time for pics I took this shot before I went to bed but it was 9mins past midnight FAIL!!
Outside of photography, my other passion is writing. I write all different kinds of things but lately I've been concentrating my efforts on screenplays. This is a script I wrote, that I photographed on my ottoman before I took it to my screenwriting group meeting.

SCRIPTURE—invariably in the New Testament denotes that definite collection of sacred books, regarded as given by inspiration of God, which we usually call the Old Testament (2 Tim. 3:15, 16; John 20:9; Gal. 3:22; 2 Pet. 1:20). It was God’s purpose thus to perpetuate his revealed will. From time to time he raised up men to commit to writing in an infallible record the revelation he gave. The “Scripture,” or collection of sacred writings, was thus enlarged from time to time as God saw necessary. We have now a completed “Scripture,” consisting of the Old and New Testaments. The Old Testament canon in the time of our Lord was precisely the same as that which we now possess under that name. He placed the seal of his own authority on this collection of writings, as all equally given by inspiration (Matt. 5:17; 7:12; 22:40; Luke 16:29, 31).

From the start of this year, we have always known this day would come. We knew that you would eventually move on in life and head off to college, and that day is finally here. I am very happy for you, and could not be more proud to have such a beautiful, intelligent girlfriend. We have already proven once before that we can handle distance, however I am still going to miss you so very much. I am going to miss seeing your beautiful face every day and just being with you and your one of a kind personality. I'll be honest, when I first started to think about this day towards the end of last year, I wasn't sure what would happen, how we would manage or if we would each take our own paths. I knew one thing for sure, however, and it was that I love you, and you are what I want. I love you more than I thought it was possible to love someone, you tought me what it is to truly love, and I don't want you to ever forget that. You mean the world to me, and it won't be long before I can finally join you. I with I could truly express everything I feel for you in a mere letter, but there just simply aren't the words.

No occasion, other than she is so sweet and was thinking of me that day.

I was doing quite a bit of letter writing yesterday, so I thought I'd provide some writing samples. This is my newly rejuvenated Parker 75, fine point. This is my first FP, and also my most abused. But now that I've got it working quite well, it's back into the everyday rotation.
The ink is a blend of Montblanc blue/black and Montblanc black and Quink black, done to darken the ink for hospital charts.

The painting shows Saint Jerome, a Doctor of the Church in Roman Catholicism, who was a famous subject for painting. Caravaggio also created other paintings of him in Meditation and engaged in writing. The artwork was executed fast, so there are irregularities in the rendering of the beard and the outlines of the books and cloak.~ Wikipedia
