And now for something completely different .....
My apologies to the writers of "Good Golly Miss Molly," for ever so slightly tinkering with the lyrics, in the name of good old Flickr fun. I simply changed the word "ball" for "Tulip." See and hear how the classic song should be sung by clicking on the following link, which will take you to a fun film version.
First, though, a viewing tip. Please right click on the link, and select "open link in new tab." That way you can have the music playing in the background while viewing this series of shots at the same time. You can also switch to the video at anytime in that other window to feast on Little Richard's astonishing performance.
I, personally, found it best to scroll down each picture in time with the song. One final thing, there are twenty-eight seconds of dialogue from the film scene before The King, Little Richard, struts his stuff. It took some time to put all this together but I had fun. Hope you guys do too. So here we go, here's that link ~~~

Much like I enjoy shooting vintage cameras, I love writing with fountain pens. For years I have enjoyed crafting my own in my workshop. This is a closeup macro photo of the nib on my newest creation that I call “Night Writer” which is made of Ebony and Black Titanium.
The mighty writers union of Moldova is one of the institutions residing in this building with its Soviet era mosaic as main attraction.
The weather fitted the condition of the artwork.

Sadly, the February Swag Bag was the last. For unknown reasons, MadPea decided to discontinue their men's subscription box and will promote their furniture and women's subscription boxes instead. Bitter sentiments aside, here are some of the items that appeared in this month's box:

avrei voglia di mettere nero su bianco leggere mi rende completo, conversare mi scioglie l'animo, la scrittura mi rende libero e completo....
I would want to put things down in black and white, read makes me complete, conversation releases my heart, writing makes me free and complete ....
A Peony from Colleen's garden.
The fattest and most scrumptious of all flowers, a rare fusion of fluff and majesty, the peony is now coming into bloom. –Henry Mitchell, American writer (1923-93).
Peonies are outrageously beautiful in bloom, with lush foliage all summer long. These perennials may live longer than you do—some have been known to thrive for 100 years. The plants require little maintenance as long as they are planted properly and establish themselves; they do not respond well to transplanting. www.almanac.com/plant/peonies

Dear Sir or Madam, will you read my book?
It took me years to write, will you take a look?
It's based on a novel by a man named Lear
And I need a job
So I wanna be a paperback writer
Paperback writer
It's a dirty story of a dirty man
And his clinging wife doesn't understand
His son is working for the Daily Mail
It's a steady job
But he wants to be a paperback writer
Paperback writer
Paperback writer (paperback writer)
It's a thousand pages, give or take a few
I'll be writing more in a week or two
I could make it longer if you like the style
I can change it 'round
And I wanna be a paperback writer
Paperback writer
If you really like it you can have the rights
It could make a million for you overnight
If you must return it you can send it here
But I need a break
And I wanna be a paperback writer

The Rousseau Island is an artificially created, small round island in a water course of the Großer Tiergarten in Berlin. It bears its name in honour of the French-Swiss philosopher, writer and educator Jean-Jacques Rousseau, to whom a listed column erected on the island is also dedicated.
