Man, I love train wrecks.
But to clear up any possible misunderstanding, this is a photoshop treatment of a real photo of a real train wreck. Believe it or not, this is NOT a model.
Low tide at Wreck Beach reveals the anchor of the Marie Gabrielle. The ship was on route from China with a load of tea when strong winds forced it to be wrecked near Moonlight Head.
Airlander 10 wreck, Cardington, Bedfordshire, 19 Nov 2017
Airlander broke free of its moorings on the morning of 18th November. It didn't travel far, but it looks a write-off.
A combining of two themes that didn't turn out as good as I hoped: the decaying car wreck and the winter fog have both been interesting photo subjects this last half year, but together it didn't quite work out. I think the fog lends itself more to black and white, but the car more to colour, and I suspect I needed to have a shallower DoF here to make the car stand out more, but I didn't want to lose the fence as the visual horizon.
WRECKED PAST
Just before our scheduled "sunset viewing" in Corregidor, I went to the dock near the hotel to do some long exposures. Luckily, I managed to take 2 shots before the tranvia picked me up.
Hoping to re-do this shot with a much better light when I return to the island. :)

A lovely 3000 ton wreck of 84 m long by 14 m beam. Made in Britain in I believe 1977 as a military vehicle transport vessel with bow doors.
This shot is of the starboard side gun position for self defence.
According to the Euro-Divers web site "Al Munassir was sunk as an artificial reef on 21 April 2003 and is now a popular diving destination. The wreck is off the coast of Muscat (Bander Al Khairan) at a depth between 10 and 28 meters. It is now serve as an artificial reef & a refuge for marine life.
An amazing dive site to take part in deep dives, wreck specialty, underwater videography dives and night dives. This site has an amazing and diverse selection of marine life. The wreck is now well-established and numerous soft coral colonies have taken root on the decks of the wreck. While within the corridors of the vessel are some of the most rewarding and exciting experiences diving can offer. Massive schools of the fish gather here. "

The Paguro platform lies on the seabed off Lido di Dante.
On 29 September 1965, an accident during the drilling of a new methane well caused the offshore Agip platform Paguro to explode and sink to the bottom of the sea. The platform now rests 12 miles away from the port of Marina di Ravenna at a depth of 25 metres.
Thanks to the exceptional aquatic life which developed in the artificial reef, the wreck has recently turned into a popular destination for sport divers. The former platform swarms with animal and plant species. Many moving invertebrates like echinoderms, olotuloids, starfishes and ophiuroids live in the area. The fish population is typical of rocky seabeds, which is quite rare for the north-western Adriatic region and includes brown meagres, saddled seabreams, lithognathus, black scorpionfishes, European basses and European congers. Among the shellfishes are European lobsters, scyllarus arctus and some varieties of crabs. Pinna pectinata, many coelenterates, sea anemones and cerianthidae are some of the aquatic plants that grow on the muddy seabed surrounding the wreck.
Knocked-out late Soviet T-26, up-armoured model with extra plates on superstructure and turret.
The one on hull front is missing.

The Irene, wrecked off Grim Ness, South Ronaldsay, Orkney. The Longhope lifeboat was lost with all the crew on the way to rescue her.
this is one of the two wrecks located about 100 yds from the cottage i stayed at in Anglesey a couple of weeks ago, I managed to get a few shots despite the awful weather!
