Like ivy you've wrapped around me
On roses i walk
As soon as you talk
Like ivy you've grown inside me

We came upon a sheep farm in our travels last Sunday. It just so happened that the owners came up the road and there we were trying to get some nice shots of their sheep. Instead of chasing us off they invited us in and gave us a very informative "tour" of their sheep! They are sheep breeders and their sheep get shipped all over the US continent and some overseas also. The sheep used in the sheep shearing photo that I shared some time ago were from this farm. What a small world we live in to be sure. On a back, gravel road in Virginia to the world! :)
A lion, wrapped in a shell, underlined by garlands
This is on the facade of an 1895 building that is considered among the top significant architectures of Kentucky.
Is the lion smiling because prey is approaching the door of the house?

Adorable little wrap I made..all the ladies who attended me and my sister Kelley's first "Baby Posing" class got a similiar one. I can't wait to see what cute images they get with theirs!
Unlike other dogs, Bella actually LOVED getting wrapped up in my scarf. She was a perfect model as she gave me several shots in this session. She is one of the most well behaved dogs I pet sit for... and she's young too. Don't know exactly how old as she's a rescue dog, but somewhere around a year old.
Out on Thursday with Pauls Pix 53, ianbartlett and ajlelliott for an 11 mile walk from Alfriston, along the River Cuckmere to the coast, and back.
"Wrapped in Culture is a collaborative project that brings together ten Indigenous artists from Australia and Canada. Working over the course of three weeks in November 2017, the artists created contemporary versions of an Australian Aboriginal possum skin cloak and a Blackfoot buffalo robe. This revives two culturally distinct, yet similar, artistic traditions that were used historically for both sacred and practical purposes. The artists worked collectively to complete the pieces from start to finish, including the design, construction and implementation, while visitors were invited to join in and learn about the history of these two culturally significant textiles. The robe and cloak are also objects that hold deeper meaning related to the identities of the artists, the significance of family and place, and the importance of intercultural exchange; creating kinship and understanding through the acts of making, sharing, and teaching." oaggao.ca/wrapped-culture

Desperately seeking something to photograph for the day. One photo a day. (22/366) -- January 22, 2020
Went on a early morning walk.looking for thing;s that some people will wake by and not see the beauty, that I see in simple things.
...only it isn't wrapping itself around a twig as usual. This one was plastered against our shed, probably enjoying the slight overhang of the eaves/gutters that protected it from all the heavy rain we have been having. It was so cool to see it against a stark background like this. HA28!
Saran Wrap!
What... thought I'd say "our love"... sheesh... Not that sappy! We got this stuff from Circuit City on their last day. 4 rolls of it. We tried being wrapped a few different ways and didn't even come close to using 1 roll. Guess we'll have to try again!
Thank you Aaron for helping us with the shot and using your camera. It's kinda hard to press any buttons when you're stuck together.
