I've been so busy on a project lately that I haven't had a chance to get out and take many photos. We were doing some packing and I thought the orange bubble wrap roll was sort of cool and abstract.
Reichstag again "wrapped" with light projection
30 years ago, the artist couple Christo and Jeanne-Claude wrapped the Reichstag building. The images of the long fabric banners went around the world at that time. A light projection now commemorates the art action.
The “line_up“ is a paperwork series I developed since 2010. The “liners” are made out of paper (Din A3/A4),
oil paint and graphite. The theme is the hermetical laws of polarity and movement. There is no ending and no beginning in any direction, just an endless movement. You have the possibility to arrange the papers like you want and that makes it an endless playground for my photo-work and the eyes of the viewers.

Walking down Melrose drive I hear rap and next minute I see wrap.
This Dolophones SP - Wrap-around spider must have been in a wrap battle with another male by the looks. Not sure who won but it is now on a bit of a lean as he has a bung leg. I would call him I-lean but thats a Girls name. I dont know if he identifies as a wrap master or a toaster but I do not want to offend him.

Amtrak Siemens ACS64 Locomotive # 662 had it's phase III wrap unwrapped this week. Here we see the locomotive powering train 172 north out of Wilmington, DE.
Today Amtrak unveiled a new phase III wrap on ACS-64 #662 sponsored by the Train Simulator video game. It's maiden voyage was on train 176 this afternoon and I happened to be in New Haven so I figured I'd grab a shot. Here we see the train doing station work before the last leg of the trip to Boston. As of now the engine should be leading 93 in the morning so happy hunting for those interested.

Anthropogenic climate change is driving increasingly chaotic weather and the jet stream being more 'wobbly' is just one small part of that. The UK has been fluctuating between hot African airflow and bitter Arctic blasts as each low pressure system rolls on in from the Atlantic thanks to this 'wobbliness' in the jet stream.
Our flora and fauna must be really confused but at least us humans can wrap up warm when we need to.
We just had the wettest March on record followed by as much rain in the first half of April as you would expect for the whole of April. Still, this is nothing compared to the Middle East yesterday. Dubai and the UAE saw two years worth of rainfall in just one day! This is at just 1.5C above pre-industrial levels. The majority of climate scientists now say that +2C is baked in now due to lack of action on reducing greenhouse gas emissions. I dread to think the chaos yet to come.
