Charcoal on Paper | 16" x 20"
When asked to wrap and draw and object, I chose to wrap the paper on which I was drawing. This project was for a college charcoal class.

My practice is to apply seven coats of clear shellac to the cotton wrap. This leaves a little tooth in the texture, a nice sheen overall, and I like the way it wears over time.

This is a macro of some bubble wrap. Lit by yellow-gelled speedlight from right and a piece of blue background reflecting up and refracting through some places. I might do one tomorrow for the 365 Challenge group.
