Purchased at my local EarthFare Deli. This was the spinach wrap with tomato, cucumber, red onion, romaine lettuce, and alfalfa bean sprouts.
They used to have these great brown chipboard boxes that were compostable, but they recently switched to plastic trays and began to give one chips along with it. I absolutely despise plastic (and styrofoam) trays, so I have been reusing the same one over and over again. I hope that the little snaps that keep it closed don’t wear out. Sigh. Damn disposable culture.
Ingredients for "Gyro" Meatballs
1 lb. ground lamb
plain breadcrumbs
Greek seasoning mix (I used "Zeus" brand)
cumin
garlic powder
ground cinnamon
salt & pepper
Ingredients for Sauce:
yogurt
diced cucumber
minced garlic
and if you like it, some dill weed (I love it!)
Ingredients for Wrap
flour tortillas (I keep leftovers in the fridge)
shredded lettuce
sliced tomato (I didn't have any when I took the picture)
yogurt sauce
Can't give specific amounts as I cook by feel (e.g. enough breadcrumbs for meat mixture to feel slightly firm)...and small. Secret ingredients for making these taste like the gyros you get in Greek restaurants I think are the cumin and cinnamon. Go easy on the cinnamon.

I asked for it as a wrap because it's easier to eat, and I didn't want to repeat the standard quesadilla. I like the color from the guacamole.

Recommended by Christopher (my server) as one of the signature sandwiches, the wrap was surrounded by a thin chewy grilled tortilla-like covering (not spongy crisp naan that I would have assumed from the menu description) and gingerly seasoned with fresh tastes of tarragon and refreshing celery hearts and watercress. The vegetable inclusion added a tender crunch to the seemingly light wrap; chopped red onions added bite to the just tender chopped shrimp. I can see this working well (albeit a tad messy) for finger sandwiches for a dainty and society lady approved tea time snack.
The Story: For a long time, Hungry Jack's has had a really annoying advertisement for a breakfast "Wrap n' Cap." It shows a long-haired construction worker eating a hearty sausage and egg breakfast wrap, which will power him through his long day of "manly" work. At the same time he is seemingly delighted to be drinking a trendy cappuccino- not quite what one would expect of a construction guy.
At one point in the commercial he says ...."with a real cappuccino..." but it completely sounds like he says "...with a real can of tuna..." Even though I know what he really says, I can't help but hear "can of tuna" every time the commercial comes on. And it's not just us- other people have thought so too.
Anyway, Phil always says he's going to get a "Wrap n' Cap," (to reward their lovely advertising efforts, I suppose). Finally, we were in Fremantle before 10 a.m. this morning. Before catching a train into Perth and the Swan Valley he made a detour into Hungry Jack's. I have documented the momentous occasion.

Still working our way through the eight bunches of collard greens from our produce co-op this week. Today's veggie wrap filling consisted of marinated scorzonera (shavings made with veggie peeler and marinated overnight), strips of zucchini, red pepper, carrots, red onion, tomato and lettuce. And for dipping, we made a sesame tamari sauce. Two thumbs up!
Part of Azzedine Alaïa: The Couturier

Azzedine Alaïa’s innovations in stretch fabrics were at least as important as his elevation of leather. In his hands, these transformed the silhouette of the wearer.
Rather than creating clothes anchored at strategic points – conventionally, the waist and the shoulders – Alaïa’s bandage dresses cling to the wearer’s form, conscious of the entire body. The stretch fabric allows these minimal silhouettes to move freely.
Debuted in 1986, these variations on the ‘Bandelette’ (bandage) dress are clearly inspired by ancient Egyptian mummification, but also perhaps by the swaddling of infants. The garments join Western and Eastern traditions – highly fitted and precision-cut, with a body simply and sensually wrapped in cloth.
The dresses seem simple, but each band of fabric is precisely engineered and cut to specific dimensions, according to its place on the figure. These creations ushered in the notion of physique-delineating ‘bodycon’ dressing, the defining aesthetic of the early 1990s.
Conceived and co-curated with Monsieur Alaïa before his death in November 2017, the exhibition charts his incredible journey from sculptor to couturier, his nonconformist nature and his infectious energy for fashion, friendship and the female body.
Unlike many of his contemporaries, Alaïa personally constructed each garment by hand and refused to bow to the pressures of fashion week deadlines, instead working to his own schedule. His collaborative approach earned him an esteemed client list, including Greta Garbo, Grace Jones, Michelle Obama and Rihanna.
Rather than a retrospective, the show interlaces stories of his life and career alongside personally selected garments, ranging from the rare to the iconic and spanning the early 1980s to his most recent collection in 2017.

Yarn: Dream in Color Classy (superwash, worsted weight), 5 skeins (@ 250 yards each) + a yard or two, or a total of 1,252 yards.
I followed the directions for the 40-inch bust size, which calls for 1,120 yards of yarn. I had to order another skein of yarn at the very end just to have enough for the i-cord ties.
