We can get even more esoteric though...referencing the Tarot Hanged Man, Trump XII, which lies between XI Strength and XIII Death (there can be some variation here depending which deck/philosophy you follow) - The card, based on influences, speaks of hidden secrets and suspension in all aspects before a 'breakthrough' 'release' 'birth' that will push him past the suspended state into his new state of enlightenment. There's actually no color manipulation going on, this is what happens when the camera tries to make head or tails from trying to white balance a model in white grease paint under sodium and halogen lights.

My first successful stone wrap! A rough amethyst, purchased at American Science and Surplus, wrapped in copper wire and embellished with agate and gold-filled beads.
This cupboard belonged to DH's grandparents. I use the drawer and the doors below to store the items needed to wrap gifts. We use it as a gift wrap center year round, but it is essential at Christmas time. The dining room table is just to the left in this picture and it makes the ideal place to wrap presents.

Using tape to hold the bag in place. I don't tape it directly to the barrel, but use the tape to hold the plastic snug. I've also seen zipties used to secure the plastic bag.

LOL, yes, it's snowing again here...and the world is frosted with white and the robins are wondering if they should have stayed south just a little while longer! BUT the Lyman Conservatory is warm and filled with hundreds of freshly opening Spring flowers. A little oasis in the storm!
