Whilst trudging up the hill of Brush Hill Nature Reserve, you walk through areas of old sinewy growth that in the mist look very wraith-like. This was taken about half way up the hill and a good excuse for a breather :)

Another view of the ice on the entryway to the Port Stanley Pier, on the north shore of Lake Erie. I haven't visited for a week, but, I'm sure it's all completely gone.

Rådhuset, Stockholm; eventually you get bored of waiting for a people free time to take your photo, so you take it anyway and hope that the motion blur adds something.
This was my first encounter with this fascinating old tree high on the slopes of Pico Ruivo.
I had climbed up through the clouds and mist to this spot at just under 6,000 feet and as the air cleared you are left with some incredible views across Madeira's volcanic mountains. This was a daytime recce as I was planning for a return visit the following day before dawn. That was an incredible experience and I have some nice images of this tree from that visit yet to post!

Jen liked "ghost in the grape yard" which I have to admit is perfect. But, it's her's now so I can't use it, else my life is a fraud. These were vineyard grapes draped in a mesh netting to keep the critters away from the sugary goodness near harvest. This was at Brys Winery in Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City. (pretty impressive wines, imho)
