King of a faction I'm working on. He has an outer cape from Royal Brick Customs, over a standard dark blue cape.
I made a few changes for stability and whatnot. I got a little ahead of myself with the last one, this one should be a much better baseline for my build style.
Now to make a head and get cracking on the armor and details.
A few of the pieces I'm working on at the moment. They are waiting for the resin to be inlayed, hoping to get them done over the next day or two.
I was given a sheet of magazine scraps which had been applied to a background in a haphazard manner and was asked to use this as a source of inspiration!
I find this sort of challenge VERY difficult as I usually work to an idea, not an image.
After a mild panic I decided to gesso the whole page in an attempt to tone down the images and then I used it to create a folder which I then die cut and embossed.
I then grabbed the scrap bag and started to machine embroider images which started to leap from the page.

I am leading a workshop called "The Book Artist as an explorer" and as a result I have discovered some treasures which have been hidden from view for a while.
I am now inspired to carry on with some work which has been left unfinished for some time

I am in the process of machining a large scale fingerprint which will form part of my latest Women's' Suffrage project.
This measures 6 inches by 5 inches and is on a calico base.
I prefer not to hoop up my fabric, but in this case it was necessary as the circular stitching would have distorted the fabric rather too much.
