These are some Armenian stamps that my Opa collected before the war. I'm not sure the dates of these stamps, but they're all pre-1935 and these are probably from the early 20's.
Farm animals and plowing the fields? I wonder why the cheaper stamps were so much more colorful. Is it because more people used them so it was worth the extra effort/expense?

The central pavilion character statue is full of hope. The painter on the harness is also hopeful that the ropes hold.
