Work in progress of lighthouse made for Swap Shoppe

Here is the winter set that I am giving to my mother-in-law. Right now I just have the scarf done.

I used Peruvian Wonders Fine Alpaca yarn on size 5 needles. I can't find a color indicator on the packaging. :( It is a vibrant spring green.

I used a single 1x1 rib for the edges. The interior is a twin rib.

Watch out for a matching hat & wrist warmers!

I'm running late!

This chevron centre piece will work into a cuff.

This is the current state of my workstation, as you can see a lone marine is waiting for the rest of his squad to join him, ready for under coating.

I was working on two different images today and did not intend to put libbyquilter's photo-transfer with blue (it was with the other image pile), but here it is. The blue fabric has bonsai images that mirror the photo-transfer. I am going to freehand machine quilt this heavily....trying to work the colors back and forth between the two images. The sunlight is gone for the day, so this photo is a little off.

Next Sketch - Work in progress

My friend Tamra got to go to China in 2007 and this is an image she took in a bonsi garden. I printed the image on cloth and am adding other fabrics as a frame for the piece.

Parigi è sempre Parigi ma... Berlino non è mai Berlino !

This quilt-top was made in late summer 2014.

I made Charlotte when I was in the 5th grade. I had just started reading Laura Wilder's "Little House" books. Little Laura had a doll named Charlotte, so I named my doll Charlotte. I have hung on to Charlotte all these years, but her clothes...originally a skirt and shawl have been left behind somewhere.

What I worked on today.

just some early sketches from a couple years ago, when I started working on my Far Away comic book.
