Work in progress...

I started painting again. Recently I was working only on abstract paintings, what I really love to do now. However I thought I might dedicate some paintings to trees, in many shapes and colors. In the future that will be a way to remember that we had them once. Through photography as well, of course, but...well, you know what I mean.

Maybe cutting board would be more appropriate.....kitty cat enjoying the full moon. I thought maybe an owl would have been a good subject as well--but once I drew the curled tail in here the cat had to stay.

I have a show coming up in January. I haven't been working on it as much as I'd like, but its starting to pull together.

I haven't been posting anything from it so far either, but I'll probably start leaking images I'm at least working on.

I think this venue will be a little bit more difficult than my last, but its beautiful brick walls and the fact that it's probably one of my favourite places in all of Edmonton makes up for it. Yeah Sugarbowl! If you're reading this in Edmonton, go now to Sugarbowl and check out my friend Tash's work up there until the new year. Its great.
