Grease Alley, an industrial backwater neighborhood in a blade-runner/fifth-element genre. These shops back onto a trash and old parts-strewn gully, where the junk skiff comes by to pick up broken components, industrial leftovers, and the occasional "borrowed" part.

Over yesterday and today, I've finished out her muzzle and worked on her right eye- I think i've redone it 3 times to try to get it just right. Not really happy with the nose, it could be it looks to be all black on photographs, I'll have to think about it.
mixed media collage works, in acrylic. I have been burning it up lately, and these are stages of works in progress. eventually i want to make time lapse gifs.
There were so many strips of fabric left after I made the blue-ish blanket in january. I stitched them up and made a rule that said, I could only cut more strips from fabrics already in use ... or what I could find on the floor of the room.

Work in progress necklace for an upcoming show at FRANK, a local artists' collective. The theme is Dining or food-related work. I tried etching cake shapes on the copper ovals, but the etchant was about exhausted, so I will try again with new solution.
