I started collecting these bottle lids from the Tiptree honey that we buy, some time ago because of those little words or idioms on them! So far, I have noticed seven different lids but maybe there are more?

I was aiming to use them someday on Flickr and then, lo and behold, that day comes today in the theme of ‘Words’ for the group ‘Smile on Saturday!’

It is raining now, but I took this crocus shot and other photos this morning. Then turned the wee blossom black and white and inverted the photo.

Spring might arrive despite my doubts.

There are gaps that words fill,

others that words dig.

There are silences that are a gift, others that kill,

which make no sense.

There are right words, wrong words,

words spoken or kept silent so as not to do harm.

Expected words, sighed. There are words, there are silences.

A missed "here", an unpronounced "I'm sorry".

A "suspended" not filled.

There are silences waiting for an explanation to arrive

in order to extinguish the torment of those meaningless whys.

These impressing monkeys have an amazing mimikry. Its a subspecies of baboons wich live in the "Tierpark Berlin". Only one day with good weather when we were in Berlin for a long weekend - so we choosed to try to make some sunshine photos away from the many tourists in the inner city. This was a good idea.. :-D
