A day without a name. Without a way to say it. A day lacking something. Something was taken away.

I've been quite busy. And by busy, I mean frolicking through sunflower fields, and cuddling kittens with my favourite girl. Summer is good. Oh-so-good.

Wordless when posted-but now 3 days later I will add some insight. My intention was to create an image that could be many things.

Hear from the heart wordless mysteries

In our heart there burns a fire that burns all veils to their root and foundation

And when the veils are burnt away then the heart will understand completely

Ancient love will unfold ever-fresh forms in the core of the heart

In the heart of the spirit

There’s comfort in its constancy—this solitary sentinel on the moor, always where I left it, always ready with a wordless nod as I arrive.

Loosely inspired by the remarkable series of wordless picture books illustrated by Aaron Becker, titled "Journey," "Quest," and "Return," this build is a last-minute entry to the MOC Wars contest and the first legit model I've built in over a year!

The wordless prompt made me think immediately of my stash of extra large photos that have never made it to a page. No words = More space. Seemed like a no-brainer to me. I think if I tried to journal this picture it would ruin it. This is my husband on the day we were leaving Dubai. The paper has a copper foil to it that really isn't showing up here, but it feels very Middle Eastern and I like the way it turned out. Happy LOAD! TFL!

Just a quick shot today - I was pretty busy. I snapped this before heading out for a bootcamp style workout. Its a good thing too because I certainly could not have jumped like this after I got my ass handed to me.

Happy September! Its my birthday month. And yes, I do celebrate all month long.

OHHHH! Don't forget about Wordless on Wednesday.

We had some beautiful weather here for at least part of the weekend. Fable won't have to be covered for much longer and I know she's excited about it! I'm hoping to build up the strength to be out and about in the nice weather, too.

Today is the the 18th anniversary of the military crackdown on the Tiananmen Square demonstrations which happened on June 4th 1989 in Beijing China. At that time, a lot of innocent students and people were killed and many more were arrested and jailed by the Chinese authority.

Many students and intellectuals, both in China and the international community, claimed that the demonstration was a movement motivated by the desire to “support democracy”. In fact, many of people amongst the demonstrators only had the foggiest idea about “Democracy and Freedom”.

As a younger middle-school student in that year, I, by the first time, came to Beijing. I remember that I saw many Chinese guards with weapons standing around the Gate of Heavily Peace-TianAnMeng Square without smiling. By the time I reached Mao Zedong’s biggest portrait, which is situated in the centre of Beijing, I was very impressed- an armed-solder had wordlessly looked at me. (Yesterday, I took this photo in the same place but, this time, the guard didn't look at me )

It has been 18 years since the memory of his face and eye was shot into my head. Yet, I am still unable to eliminate him from my memory and it may take a long time to remove him from my head. This situation, both for me and for all Chinese who are willing to participate in democracy and freedom may yet continue for a long time. I believe that the process of developing a “Rule of Law(法制)” here in China will be more difficult than any other process simply because we have a two-thousand-year history of “Rule by Law(人治)”.

Romans 8:26-28 (MSG)

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.

I'm adding something special to this Scripture photo. This is a photo of God's garden in the front after Hurricane Irma. My Flickr friend, Paul, sent me this day the most wonderful link. I'm adding it to this photo description and it was how the Holy Spirit decided for me which photo to edit and post today. Thank you, Paul.

2018-09-11 A year ago today, on the anniversary of America's most horrible terrorist attack 17 years ago, Hurricane Irma smashed through Florida. Some places are still rebuilding. It's now the prime time yet again in our hurricane season ... God bless us all and God bless you all.

We will never forget September 11, 2001. God bless America.

2020-08-01 Watching Hurricane Isaias barrelling up the Florida coast heading my way. Nothing like this monster did (Hurricane Irma 2017) with so much devastation. Hurricane Isaias is weaker and just skirting along the coast line heading north. During the pandemic. While I'm so sick from cancer and treatment. Counting my many blessings, though. Thank You, Jesus, for all good things.

September 27, 2022: Moving this up to my photostream as I'm heading outside for hurricane preparations. Shouldn't be on the computer much today, and probably tomorrow. I hope this inspires you to love and pray for me at this stressful time. I'm trusting in the Lord. God bless you and yours. Special blessings for my Peeps on the West cost right in the path.

Another photo from my Place project. There is an explanation in the previous photo I uploaded. The exhibition was one week ago and it went very well! I felt like a professional.
