Silvano Marinelli was born in Ancona (I) in 1936, he attended the School of the Book of Urbino and dedicated himself to the creation of theatrical costumes and illustration. The comic meets him in 1970 when he begins to illustrate the adventures of Steve Damon for Il Giornalino.
