Skull of a wolverine (Gulo gulo).
Compare again to the spotted hyena.
Note the angle formed by the nasal opening and the lower jaw right at the chin -- like a pair of wire cutters, powerful and blunt.
The wolverine's skull, like its life, is nasty, brutish, and short.
Nothing fancy, just a basic arms outstretched pose with blood splatter everywhere I had to get out of my head late one night as an exercise.
Next to his leg is actually a little of my *own* blood, so it's a DNA enriched.
Whacked it up on Ebay since so many people expressed interest in this one. ( And because paying rent is fun )

Part of the lego hall i got. From wolverines chopper showdown. I love how lego did this figure the hair could have been better in hard plastic.
I can't really draw things from my head...
Have to look at the picture, and then I try to do the same (or similar...).
I don't copy though... like, direct copy, using that transparent tracing paper (which I don't know the name in english...).
This image is from Wolverine: The Origin.
ps: From all drawings I've done, this is my favorite, EVER! Simply 'cause I suck at drawing hands, and this one I was really pleased with.
The Stealth Wolverine X-Men figure. I got this on the cheap, despite it costing less than normal i am really pleased with it. It's supposed to be more sci-fi based shootey type of wolverine. He comes with a laser pistol, ( i dont see him use this in the comics).
In certain poses he looks stupid and others he looks fantastic. For a new-ish type figure i'm still quite impressed.

Wenn man sich die Krallen so anschaut, kann man den Bogen zu "X-Men" und damit zu Logan, dem "Wolverine" spannen - also wenn man die MARVEL-Comics kennt... und mag... :-)

Personal portfolio project
Blog post HERE
This continues a series of personal work that started with the Legend of Zelda portfolio. I've been hoping to start a series of images based on my personal passions related to video games, comic books, movies, etc.
Matt Smigiel is a graduate from the New Hampshire Institute of Art who does amazing comics, cartoon and comic book style artworks. He's currently shopping around his first completed graphic novel, "Iris".
Matt pretty much IS Wolverine. He's a big Wolverine fan, I'm a big Wolverine fan. Hey, let's get together and make you Wolverine. I couldn't even get the complete sentence out of my mouth before he said "OMG YES!!!!"

Unfortunately we couldn't come any closer or find a better viewpoint to take photographs. But I just had to take a picture, any picture, of these cool little animals.
They look so cool, I mean just look at those paws... and after a quick YouTube search you can actually confirm that they are even more cool than they look. These guys weigh about 10-20kg, and they will attack even moose or elk for prey. Their jaws are strong enough to crush the femur bone of a moose, to get to the marrow inside. They will also try to steal prey from black bears or polar bears, and sometimes succeed.
Seriously... deep respect.
There Dutch name may be even cooler than the English one. In Dutch they are called "veelvraat" which means "glutton". But it is actually believed to be a bastardization of the Norwegian word "fjellfross" which means "rock cat".
