Last night I finally met the wolverine for the first time!
After having a bear spending some time really close to our hide in "Pine Forest", the wolverine suddenly showed up in the amazing light that filled the forest. Luckily it stayed close for a while as well.
Later we got two more bear visits. They spent some time only a couple of meters outside our hide(!), and it was super exciting! I got so many great photos that I look forward to show later on.
I just loved this photography spot and the amazing light we had. It´s sad that we don´t have the time to go back (this time). Tonight we will spend our last hours here, back in the hides by beautiul "Lake"- hoping for more reflections than we had the last time in the rain.

Spent a great day photographing Golden Eagles. As the light dimmed this Wolverine made a cautious visit. Wow, what a treat.
I've been wanting to build a new Wolverine figure that would be in better proportion to the "claws" that I have. This is one of a small handful that I've built in this scale and the first to feature eyebrows and more realistic eyes. So, what do you think?

Wolverine is my favorite super hero so I got a group of all my wolvy figs to be a massive show off :8=====D
The OG X-men 1 Wolverine's head is all painted by me but is going to a friend in a trade so RIP me. Also the body is knock off FIGHT ME.
Fixed the hair with tank top Wolverine.
Also the cool Wolverine figure with the chrome claws I bought off ebay but with a few modded painted parts that I did.
Shit, I forgot that this third Wolverine film was coming out next year! Well, here's the first poster for it, and know it's officially been titled "Logan." Make sure to leave your thoughts in the comments below!

My sister heard something in the bushes while we were eating lunch; she glanced over and flinched as she saw a large furry creature mere meters away. It was a young wolverine! As soon as he realized he was seen he scampered away up the slope towards Mount Strachan. He turned to look back at us a few times at which point I made no hesitation to grab my camera and snag a few hasty photos. Thankfully I still had my zoom lens attached to the camera or he would've been gone before I could've even started switching lenses.
Wet mud transitioning to dry mud with claw like look to it. Found while roaming the canyons of the desert southwest in Utah.
Was originally gonna have 3 different versions of Logan, but decided to just go for the comic version.
Don't worry though, I'm planning on posting a bunch of other X-men stuff this week.
I'd also like to do a few more color pallet pictures like this one, so let me know who you'd want to see.

I've always been a huge fan of Wolverine - as a kid, watching X-Men: The Animated Series and playing with the toys.
As such, I really wanted to add a Wolverine to my collection, specifically in the format of the classic yellow and blue. I wavered slightly from his appearance in X-Men: TAS, going for a slightly more modern suit.
This is obviously the first figure I've made with my casted muscular torso and arms sculpt, paired up with the shoulder pads from a KO Chrome Claw figure, some hands from Leonardo's excellent Dead Space 2 suit, some custom made claws and a TLG Wolverine helmet which I widened and contoured at the sides of the mouth.
I'm really happy with how this figure turned out, I hope you guys like it too!
